Rolling Fields, Stretching Horizons
The Easton Estate
A friendly pint, open skies, woodsmoke rising: our Estate beckons.
Nestled in rolling Lincolnshire and Rutland countryside, Easton is a classic rural estate that’s been owned and managed by the Cholmeley family since 1561. Through the centuries, it has played home to generations of families, all head over heels for big open skies, frost-coated grass, blossom on the air, leaves rustling in the wind, or the pop of well-aged logs on a roaring pub fire.
Our way of life here is pretty special – you’ll feel it the moment you step onto Easton soil. Distance from the everyday bustle means time to pause, contemplate and take care of the things that matter, that refresh us, that give us new ideas. Strong roots keep us grounded, drawing on our collective heritage and experience to find new ways of doing things. What’s an estate with no hall? How do you reveal the beauty lost beneath the thorns? Where are all the rabbits and why does it matter?
We’re country people through and through and our connection with our surroundings runs deep. Ask any one of us harvesting the fields, pruning the cherry trees, stocking the shop, serving up afternoon tea or sinking a pint at the end of the day and we’ll tell you what this place means to us. The Easton Estate makes us who we are, so we all work together to keep it thriving.
