Autumn Country Market

Over 60 stalls showcasing the very best our region has to offer!

On Sunday 2nd September the much-loved autumn country market will showcase the regions best artisan crafts, rural food, demonstrations and gardens. Open from 11am-4pm in the beautiful 17th century cobbled courtyard and across the main lawn, over 60 stalls will be showcasing the best our region has to offer.

The day is much more than just shopping, the beautiful surroundings of these famous gardens make for the perfect start to autumn. Demonstrators fascinate young and old alike with local heritage crafts. beekeeping and botanical painting. There will also be a vintage car and alpacas to enjoy.

The tearoom will be serving light lunches, cream teas and homemade cakes throughout the day and the gift shop will be open as usual where beautiful, carefully sourced gifts adorn the shelves and plants will be available to purchase in the courtyard.

Craft stalls include Thread & Ink, Madder Cutch & Co and Petra Wright Ceramics. There will also be lots of delicious produce including cakes, jams and teas and stalls include award-winning Bickerton’s, Lavinton Lamb and The Teaspoon Tea Company. We are excited to welcome lots of stallholders who are new to the Autumn Country Market this year.
