a weekend of demonstrations with
Rebecca Wallace and Pip Seymour 19th and 20th September 2026
Founded on more than twenty years of expertise in paint making, Wallace Seymour has earned a reputation as one of Britain’s most respected makers of artists’ colours and mediums. Their pigments, paints and varnishes are manufactured in small batches in the UK using carefully selected raw materials, combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest developments in paint chemistry. Trusted by artists from beginners to professionals, their materials are designed to bring out the full potential of every pigment while remaining accessible to anyone serious about their craft.
Over this inspiring weekend, Pip Wallace and Rebecca Seymour will share their knowledge behind these remarkable materials, exploring the characteristics of different pigments, how colour behaves, and how choosing the right medium can transform a painting. Whether you work with a chosen medium or simply want a deeper understanding of artists’ materials, you’ll leave with practical knowledge that will change the way you approach colour, giving you greater confidence and a richer appreciation of the paints you use.
Griffin of Easton stock the full range of their paints and you will be able to try them for yourself.
These free events will be held in The Coffee Room but we do need to know numbers of participants so for more information and to confirm your place please use our contact page here.
