When the Griffin of Easton shop opened its doors at Easton Walled Gardens, we wanted to focus on creativity, craftsmanship and inspiration, only stocking the very best artists’ materials that we use in our own work.

We are very proud to be stockists of the British owned and made Wallace Seymour, who focus on producing traditionally accurate mediums using only the best natural pigments and minerals, creating a unique range of colours and products unmatched by any other manufacturer.

The History of Wallace Seymour

With over 20 years experience in the art materials business, Rebecca Wallace and Pip Seymour have built the brand with hand-made mediums and traditional colours at its core. As artists themselves, they saw very few brands making fine grade art products that were sympathetic to the original methods.

Using modern and ancient pigments, minerals and pure raw materials, the small batch production allows for a depth and versatility of colour not seen in any other brand.
