Spring planning for a productive garden

During this engaging and practical series of mornings, Garden owner Ursula Cholmeley and Ollie Ryan Moore, Senior Gardener and other members of the gardens team will guide you through planning the for the coming season. The sessions will be hands on with plenty of tips and advice as we work through the morning. You will be working alongside the team on the production of the seasonal displays at Easton Walled Gardens and discussing your garden and plans as we go along.

After each morning you will be given some ‘homework’ (seed sowing, propagating or planning your garden, for example) The success of your ‘homework’ can be discussed at the next meeting so that you can get the answers to the questions that arose as you worked on the planting for your own garden.

There is a break for Easter to give you longer to get some real work done to your garden before you return for the next stage. There is no pressure to do anything but we hope to develop your skills and give you confidence.

Easton Walled Gardens is known for innovative planting schemes, displays of annuals and cutflowers, plantsmanship and incorporating wildlife into our garden planning. The team aim to provide colour in the garden for 9 months of the year: an ambitious but rewarding goal.
