This unique workshop will introduce you to the rare historical process of anthotype printing developed by some of the great scientists of the 1800s. Using nature’s resources from the wonderfully abundant gardens at Easton you will excitingly exploit the light sensitivity of plants and their beautiful colour palette.
Your expert tutor will guide you through the process of extracting a coloured emulsion from plants using apothecary techniques, all the way to creating a finished image. You will produce gorgeous floral prints from collected specimens which can be displayed in your home, used in card making or given as a special gift.
