Wallace Seymour Wax-Oil Sticks

These high pigment load Wax-Oil Sticks © are designed for drawing or painting directly, allowing you to apply colour to the painting support in a direct way, without need for brushes or painting knives; perfect for plein air adventures or for limited space studios.
The oil stick is formed with natural waxes, oil and high quality pigments (the same pigments used in the Wallace Seymour standard oil colours), the applied colour can be thinned or re-worked with diluent or solvents and mediums as required to modulate the colour on the surface.

Wax-Oil Sticks © can be applied over dried layers of oil paint, or incorporated and blended with fresh oil paints on the painting surface.
With a long drying curve – around 3-5 days, the applied colour can be modified on the painting support with brushes, knives or other tools, and do not skin over, meaning they will stay fresh to use for many months.

Each Oil Stick is approx. 12cm by 2.5cm.
