Sweet Pea 'Route 66'

Lathyrus odoratus 'Route 66'

New to us last year, we were looking for a replacement for a sweet pea that was similar but had lost some of its vigour (which means the flowers had become smaller and less wavy.) We are so pleased with this beautiful bi-colour sweet pea with ruffled edges. Each stem has four or five flowers and a light scent. Particularly beautiful on the plant and great addition to a vase.

Sweet pea seed grown and harvested with such care needs a suitable container to keep the seed stable and dry. The Easton Collection is now available in fully recyclable tins. Decorated in a pattern designed by Ursula Cholmeley, the tin reflects colours found in arts and crafts motifs of the Edwardian Era when sweet peas were as highly valued at Easton as they are today.
