Sweet Pea 'Purple Pimpernel'

Lathyrus odoratus 'Purple Pimpernel'

Purple Pimpernel is an annual variety with large fragrant bi-coloured flowers in shades of maroon and purple. Long stems make this a great choice for cut flowers. Each plant can grow very tall and produce buckets of flowers early in the season. Always the first to flower with us and grows and grows.

Sweet pea seed grown and harvested with such care needs a suitable container to keep the seed stable and dry. The Easton Collection is now available in fully recyclable tins. Decorated in a pattern designed by Ursula Cholmeley, the tin reflects colours found in arts and crafts motifs of the Edwardian Era when sweet peas were as highly valued at Easton as they are today.
