Lathyrus odoratus 'Miss Wilmott'
Miss Wilmott is a climbing annual variety of old Sweet Pea, introduced in 1900, with beautiful, salmon pink flowers. It produces a shortish, bushy plant with lots of flowers and can be used to decorate a terrace in a large container. As with all heritage varieties, the flowers are smaller but if you are looking for a sweet pea with the best scent, the perfume from this flower is excellent.

Sow: From November to March, undercover, In Spring can be sown direct or into pots. Protect seed from mice.
Flowers: May to September, depending on when sown
Where to plant: Perfect for flower beds in the open or against a sunny wall; cottage gardens; courtyard gardens, cutflower gardens. Especially good for large containers.
