Sweet Pea ' Captain of the Blues'

Lathyrus odoratus 'Captain of the Blues'

Deservedly one of our most popular sweet peas, Captain of the Blues is an annual heritage Sweet Pea with well-scented blue/purple flowers. The bushy growth and huge number of flowers makes this a particularly good garden variety and the smallish flowers have a great scent.

Sweet pea seed grown and harvested with such care needs a suitable container to keep the seed stable and dry. The Easton Collection is now available in fully recyclable tins. Decorated in a pattern designed by Ursula Cholmeley, the tin reflects colours found in arts and crafts motifs of the Edwardian Era when sweet peas were as highly valued at Easton as they are today.
