History held gently, gardens in full voice
Easton Country Estate
Discover One of Lincolnshire’s Most Welcoming Country Estates
Easton Estate is more than just a beautiful place, it’s one of those country estates that feels quietly alive with history, yet rooted firmly in the present. Tucked into the folds of the Lincolnshire countryside, this family-run estate offers visitors the rare gift of open skies, calm paths, and the kind of green beauty that invites you to slow down without realising you have.
At its heart lies Easton Walled Gardens, 12 acres of thoughtfully restored grounds that blend formality with wildness, colour with calm. Once abandoned, now reimagined, the gardens are a labour of love decades in the making. Walk through sweet pea tunnels, under blossoming fruit trees, past borders spilling with heritage roses and humming with bees. This is garden history, yes, but living and breathing.
What Makes Easton a Standout Among Country Estates?
Easton is different. It does not shout about its heritage, it simply lets you feel it. The stone walls, old trees, softened paths and generous planting all tell their story without fanfare.
- A privately owned country estate with over 400 years of lived history
- Home to one of England’s most admired and peaceful garden restorations
- Designed for wandering, resting, reading, sitting – not just ticking off
- Less polished perfection, more personal charm
- Loved by gardeners, writers, artists, families, and anyone needing a bit of quiet
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed at grand country houses or shuffled through manicured grounds, Easton is your antidote. It offers space, beauty and a sense of welcome – without the grandeur turning into distance.
More Than a Garden: The Courtyard
At the heart of the garden sits The Courtyard – Easton’s day-visitor hub, where conversation is low, cakes are homemade, and the hot drinks are served with a smile. Settle into the Coffee Room with its soft textiles and slow atmosphere, or enjoy the sunshine with a blanket and a view of the old walls.
You’ll also find our Courtyard Shop filled with carefully chosen gifts, and Griffin of Easton – a thoughtful space full of books, artist supplies and things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. No garden ticket is needed to visit The Courtyard, and dogs on leads are always welcome inside and out (please note, guide dogs only in the gardens themselves)
