Full Time

The Easton Estate are looking for a full time junior gardener to join the team at Easton Walled Gardens.

The successful applicant will have horticultural qualifications and want to learn more. You will be required to do a fair amount of grounds maintenance such as strimming, mowing and even water work so you will need to be fit. Working with the team you will learn how to grow, put together and maintain a wide range of plants including annuals, bulbs, shrubs and herbaceous perennials. As we are open to visitors, a smart appearance and an ability to work as a team to help create the best experience possible for our visitors is important.

This position is particularly suitable for newly qualified gardeners looking to add experience to an academic qualification.

Easton Walled Gardens is a friendly place to work, we are ambitious in our horticultural aims and work with a huge range of plants.

Full Time.

We are looking for an experienced general woodlands and estate worker to join the Estate team on a full-time basis. The focus of this work will be on practical woodland management and general Estate upkeep and maintenance.

The job is very varied and includes carrying out all practical woodland tasks, with the help of an assistant; running the Estate’s firewood business, including processing and delivery; taking part in general woodland management, including tree planting, ground maintenance, fencing and trimming of trees, etc.; and many other general jobs over the whole of the Easton Estate.
