We welcome groups to the gardens throughout the open season. Mary McKinlay deals with all group and tour bookings and can tailor your visit to suit you.
Groups of more than 15+ should book in with Mary. Please note that discount cards do not apply to individuals visiting as part of a group.
Coach drivers are offered tea and coffee and free entrance.
Popular events for groups to visit the gardens include:
Snowdrop Week in February, Sweet Pea Week in June and July and The Autumn Country Market in September.
Choose from one of the following options:
A meet and greet visit: Visit during normal opening hours. Your group will be met for a welcome and brief introduction to the gardens. Normal admission price applies.
A Tour of the gardens: If you book a tour of the gardens you may book in or out of normal opening hours and your tour lasts about 1 hour. You have as much time as you like to relax in the garden. Prices for this are dependent on the time of day/day of the week that you book. Please note that this option is not available during Sweet pea or Snowdrop week.
20 minute introduction: Recommended for groups with a variety of interests. Your group will be met by a tour guide and then assemble for a short talk about the history of the gardens and the family and the collapse of the house and gardens and its revival. £20 + admission price.
Tour of the Area: If you would like to visit another garden or house in our area you can book that through us too. We can advise on catering and hotel options from the estate pub to comfortable large accommodation near the A1.
Your itinerary: If you are in the process of putting together an itinerary for your group, you may find this map of our area useful. It includes places to stay, things to do and where to eat. Click Here to download.
Catering Options: The Tearoom is open during normal opening hours and serves light lunches and cream teas. Alternatively you may prefer coffee and biscuits on arrival (which works very well with the talk option) or a full lunch in the coach house. Please call Mary to discuss options.
We have linked up with Grimsthorpe to offer groups the chance to visit us both in the same day. Enjoy the beautiful Grimsthorpe Castle and its treasures and then move on to Easton Walled Gardens. With various options available, this wonderful joint visit is available for groups of 20 or more throughout the summer. Please contact either venue for more information.
